Hardly needs to be said but if Trump thought 10% was the correct 'tariff' on Friday, why is it 15% on Saturday. Answer - he's making it up like a petulant child and anyone who can't see that is an idiot.

Anything good going to AU is fine with me!

So, ordinary Americans are owed a shed load of tax (tariffs) back. Wonder if the magas are bright enough to realise it? Ah, fuck 'em.

I hate it when that happens.

Measles cases continue to rise in England - and this is where outbreak could spread next UK Health Security Agency figures show that between 1 January and 16 February, there were 130 confirmed measles cases, many of them in Enfield, but the real figure could be much higher.

The stupidity of parents is off the scale. My brother, born 1959 was brain damaged at 9 mo by measles before the vaccine was available. A life of disability for him and grief for my parents.
Get your kids vaccinated.

He knows. But, like Trump, honesty and care for society are of no utility to his ilk. Farage is not a leader nor is he a politician with just differing policy priorities. He's way more dangerous than that. Think of him more as a parasite.

19.02.2026 01:33 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Farage is telling everyone in the UK who and what he is. He's going to be what Trump is to the USA. If you think that's good and you're not wealthy, you're a gullible idiot. Farage is not your friend.

Farage wants Reform to be party of future - but can its new top team distance itself from a Tory past? The Reform UK leader batted away criticism he has handed two of his top jobs to former Conservatives - and issued a warning in the event of "disloyalty".

If England fancies trying their luck with this bunch and Scotland choose the SNP and Greens, then Scotland better be ready to be like Canada. Independent and with a hard border with their insane southern neighbours.

What's the point in asking Jim Ratcliffe to apologise for his comments on immigrants? That's what he thinks and some forced insincere apology isn't going to change what people think of him or people with similar views. He represents a type in the UK and there lies a problem.

There's a lot to like about the UK but there is so much to hate. I wish this country could do better.

If "there's no suggestion of wrongdoing" in the Epstein files then stop wasting time and come back when there is.

A quick look on Autotrader - EX30s for sale with around 6,000 miles. Poor owners. I'd be pretty outraged at Volvo.

The UK has its own particular brand of stupidity.

Decent Americans are struggling with a conundrum: whether the pen is mightier than the sword and which of these two they should bring to a gunfight.

25.01.2026 16:07 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Exactly.

Looks like Labour would rather have Reform win in Manchester than have Andy Burnham as an MP.
The worst type of politics.

Ok, so Keir Starmer did. Quite right. Appalling and insulting. Better

Hitler was wrong to invade Poland. Pol Pot was wrong in the killing fields. Harold Shipman was wrong.
Just trying to get the word 'wrong' to measure up. Doesn't work. Mr Starmer, engage your spine and find some words that make you sound like a leader.

No Stephen Kinnock, Trump's disparaging remarks about NATO troops are not "disappointing". Disappointment is a word for rain at a picnic, or a poor end to a Netflix show.
Trump's comments were an outrageous insult from an ignorant shallow little man.
They show contempt and betrayal, nothing less.

Keir Starmer, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves - DO NOT JOIN THE BOARD OF PEACE, IT IS A SCAM.

Be like Canada.

23.01.2026 05:49 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Mark Carney is absolutely correct. Sometimes a 'rupture' is needed. In our personal lives we part ways with friends who betray us. So it is with countries. And the Board of Peace is a scam headed by a fraud, a felon and a conman.
Canada should keep out and SO SHOULD THE UK.

23.01.2026 05:38 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Hmm. Seems Ireland is making contingency plans in case Trump makes any more speeches on the North Atlantic.

This ridiculous man Trump wastes everyone's time with petulant insults and boasts of military power. Then in ONE AFTERNOON completely flips to the position on Greenland that was there all along.
Any harm done then? Yes. To borrow his own phrase, "we will remember".
The fool.
Cheers from Europe.

The UKs 'independent nuclear deterrent', it turns out, isn't. They need servicing in Virginia.

We learned something though. The restaurants in Washington DC are doing well and the grass is pretty good, or was that in Minnesota or Iceland?

Netanyahu on a Board of Peace. Did George Orwell have a time machine?

And when Trump is finally forced to forget the acquisition of Greenland because it's illegal, I'm sure Lavrov will be telling us Putin has recognised the error of his ways and will pull out of OCCUPIED CRIMEA.
