I very happily buy from Chinese manufacturers but I don't believe any community should just accept stealing designs as an acceptable practice. And your pathetic attempt to frame it as a class issue is stupid especially when most of the people saying it have multiple $100+ pens in their collection

What people don't like is that they're stealing designs from other companies and selling crappy knockoffs. And most of these companies also make their own pen designs but those are never the ones you see people buying. It's always the dupes of the more expensive pens.

Okay time to rant about stationary people...
There's this bunch of people that get really defensive over buying Chinese dupes of more expensive fountain pens and always say shit like "it's not bad just because it's cheap" and it drives me insane because nobody is mad that you bought a cheap pen

I'm a bird watcher but most of these so-called bird watchers are actually bird seekers... I don't have that kind of ambition

This was Fujicolor 400 so it wasn't a big monetary loss and I should have just gone with saving the photos.
Worst part is I shot it in two different cameras so the images don't even align with each other

I was like "hmm... I may have shot this roll already but I don't remember and the lead is still out. Nah it's probably fine I wouldn't do that"
So I double exposed the whole roll of photos and lost what were clearly some really good pictures of my nieces and some really good pictures of the con

I'm still pissed that my film from ACFI didn't turn out because of a stupid mistake I knew I was making...

Shooting film helped me realize that I don't need or want every picture to be sharp, high contrast, and perfectly lit. Things can be good while being warm, dark, and grainy

Same... pup, wah, and kiddo are all also acceptable
