Without urgent international support, families devastated by conflict and climate shocks will be left without the protection, water and dignity they deserve. www.unhcr.org/news/briefin...
UNHCR is prioritizing life-saving aid for 150,000 people:
β‘οΈ Emergency cash and shelter support
β‘οΈ Plastic sheeting for damaged homes
β‘οΈ Water pumps and dykes to drain floodwaters

South Sudan is facing multiple crises.
Deadly floods have already displaced over 100,000 peopleβwhile renewed conflict leaves fragile communities exposed and aid stretched thin.
βWe are right now facing a deadly cocktail of a mix of forced displacement which is on the increase and at the same time financial aid cuts.β

Escalating conflict in South Sudan forces thousands to flee just as aid dwindles
π¨ Over 165,000 people have fled conflict in South Sudan in the past three months.
As tensions rise, families are being uprooted againβboth within the country and across borders. The humanitarian situation is worsening fast.

Two years of war in Sudan.
1 in 3 Sudanese displaced.
Every day, families flee war, hunger & violence.
Hope alone canβt build schools.
Solidarity canβt fund clinics.
We can't let this become a forgotten crisis.
