Support So we've been using an Al agent since November to answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations, everyone loved it. I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this entire time. Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing plausible sounding percentages. I only caught it by accident when someone asked me to double check something. I started digging, and holy shit, it's bad.

It's a bit incendiary, but has the kernel of the right idea, wish the article spent more than a sentence or two on the games that buck the trend. The transactional nature of the "romance option"+silent protag is quite limiting though.

1) the feel good underdog fascination with small team sizes and solo devs making these insanely popular games justifies the industries layoff practices.
2) the alienation of labor is in full practice. The worker has been separated from the act of production and hidden away from public consciousness.

It do be one of those cases where I feel like a remaster should just combine the first two games into one anyway, but admittedly the long term build/personalisation aspect of it makes it fundamentally incompatible to the in/out one session quicklook format.
