I was kind of expecting a temporary "friendly noob" map for the first like couple of games. But no. Fuck that. Can play Rust for that 🤣

A crow kicks a small ball of snow. They then start rolling it into a larger ball while saying "trust the process...". They kick more snow into a pile and stick a branch in repeating "trust the process" to itself. They place small stones. They say "Phew!" and stand back to look at its creation, which we see now is a mess of a project that looks somewhat like a melted bird. The final panel the crow says "haha it's terrible".

Really excited to see what will be coming out in 2026. Really looking forward an ethical and open solution for AI based tools instead of having to rely on what Big Tech will dictate.

Packing for a move is such a weird experience. You collapse your life in boxes, force yourself to part away with things that you will forget soon after. But most importantly if you move away from the US you need to part with all 120V electronics 😑

So my mum (71yo) is REALLY into Buraco. She is super deadly serious about it when she plays it with her friends.

I am fiddling a bit finding a play setup since I'm travelling, but set on using a bit of Roll20 and a Sheet file to keep track of my character and town. Also taking notes to make a sort of journal.

... then select them (choose what's really to read and what to discard) and then plant (read them). The thing is to force oneself to only be in "one mode" at a time. If you are in selection mode, resist the temptation to wander off and find more stuff. And so forth. It's silly but its working for me

I have the same issue. I start a bazillion things but I finish none. Also because it's easier that way.I liked the concept I read somewhere: treat the "stuff to do" like a garden. You find seeds (eg.collect stuff to read)...

I found a system that works for me, for now. It's nice to have something that feels "productive" I can do also when I have only access to my phone, instead of doom scrolling or jumping-reading between random things (but not remembering anything) and feeling guilty about it

I just want to move from "mindless reading and consuming" to actual mindful engagement with the games.
