One of the most inspiring innovations of the last 20 years is **Markdown**. John Gruber @gruber.foo created it so he could easily write HTML formatting.

Couple decades later, you can use Markdown with Reddit, Github, Notion, Obsidian, ChatGPT, Claude and loads more.

Creativity can't die. But metrics, fear of risk and poor discovery prevent the novel from seeing the light. This isn’t an issue of creativity, but an issue of permitting talent to graduate beyond the niche and accepting news mediums of creativity.

Thank you, Ronnie! This era reminds me of when I was a teenager and wanted to find better creative work and it was just really hard to find it. The internet solved this problem brilliantly for a long time but it now seems to be reverting to the old model of churn out slop for the masses.
