although I had previously many hits on college radio all over, (and a couple local hits on commercial radio), Spread Your Evil Wings and Fly got me play on a handful of commercial radio stations across the country…in LA I remember and I forget where else.

RYKOdisc released the greatest hits Our Most Beloved, and then the new album Spread Your Evil Wings and Fly and like the day that came out they sold themselves to Warner Bros. and I asked if I could be let out of my contract.

There are many many James Kochalka Superstar songs we’ve played live that never got recorded. Many songs I can’t even remember at all. Some I just remember a title.

I was watching some YouTube documentary about Trader Joe’s and then I was like, what do I care? I never even been in a Trader Joe’s. What does it matter to me if their name-brand pizza now has a different manufacturer than it used to?
