It's nice because you can scroll through all the posts until you hit "24 hours ago". Basically guaranteeing nobody got missed.

I realized with some annoyance today that some people I follow would show up in "Following" for like the first time in a month, despite making posts every few days.

"Latest From Follows" seems like it will help give them more visibility and I'm optimistic!

It shows one post *per person* you follow.

That's it.

IMO it gives a lot more visibility to people who post infrequently (whose once-weekly post might be 6-hours-old and buried by the time you get online to check...)
