Scottish Prem looks a bit mad:

Hibs have won just 2 of 8 and are third top.
Motherwell have lost just 2 of 8 and are third bottom.

So many draws. Rangers with 6 from 8. Hearts top.

Itโ€™s got some incredible lines.

Just the sheer breadth of characters, from Doug Rocket to his flatmate Toby, Noel Fielding, the guys from Sugar Ape, Kevin Eldon and Elizabeth the catโ€ฆ every element of their characters, every line, every word, it all feels so considered and accurate.

๐Ÿ˜… haha thanks! Although I dunnoโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve used a few choice expressions in the office, albeit quoting the show rather than *actually* meaning them. But to someone who doesnโ€™t know that, theyโ€™ll probably take me at face value and think Iโ€™m a prannock

Been re-watching Nathan Barley (again). Absurd to think it panned at the time - the writing is incredible, every character (including the most peripheral) has so much depth, the casting is phenomenalโ€ฆ

The world just wasnโ€™t ready for it. Not for at least 20 years, anyway.

Bit late to the party on this one, but wanted to share.

When BANNAN came on, the sweary guy next to me shouts: "Fuck off you scotch cunt! And take your haggis with you!"

Then turns to his mate and says (in a lower and maturer tone): "He's a good little player, though."

Made me chuckle.

I fear the Hull version of anything will always sound less appealing.

Reminds me of a football-mad Hull boy who got pink gloves for his birthday from his aunt (who wasnโ€™t from Hull).

Confused why he was upset, he reiterated his request - that he wanted a pair of โ€˜girlyโ€™ (goalie) gloves.

Absolutely. And Iโ€™d love to see the video they played on the big screen just before kick-off again. Probably wonโ€™t feel the same away from the moment, but still. Raised a few hairs on my neck!

That Amorim quote where heโ€™s saying sometimes he loves his players, sometimes he hates his playersโ€ฆ is this what passes for modern, forward-thinking, innovative, elite football coaches these days?

He sounds a bit unhinged. Compare that style to David Artellโ€™s. Whoโ€™d you rather report into?

Iโ€™m on the BBC Sport app, havenโ€™t even clicked on the football tab yet, and I can see FOUR articles dedicated to Man Utdโ€™s defeat to Arsenal yesterday.

There were other games, and there are other sports, out there.

As Iโ€™m sure the next two weeks will be.

Haha eerily correct! He was batting with six runs needed.

Iโ€™d backed India before the fourth innings began. I know weโ€™re good chasing but still, I didnโ€™t think weโ€™d do it really.

Not that thatโ€™s any consolation. I was desperate for us to win, given how it went. Woakes was incredibly brave.

Still canโ€™t get over the fact that wherever we play, and whenever we go into a fourth innings, one commentator will say how the record chase on this ground is a very modest total. And thatโ€™s in this history of the sport. Pitches have changed, but mindset probably more so, as you say.

Iโ€™m beginning to think that might not be required now, but never say never!

I just think each of the five tests has been amazing, all but this has gone the distance and into the fifth day.

Outrageous that India have scored so many runs yet could lose the series 3-1.

Canโ€™t help but think that if this test series was against the Aussies, theyโ€™d be saying this was one of the most remarkable Ashes series ever.

I get that this isnโ€™t a classic India test team, but each test, in and of themselves, has been a cracker.

Great performance and result from the Mariners today. What a lovely way to start a new season!

Telling thing for me was just three debutants in starting XI.

Just two new signings on a bench of seven. Canโ€™t remember the last time we went into a new season with such consistency in personnel. #gtfc
