And maybe that is why I am willing to look past or justify some things other people have criticized it, but like, a new piece of media that I allowed myself to buy in on, coming out of basically nowhere and not just being good but being great? Feels nice, man.

This is a little cheesy, but my favorite thing about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 game is it did it. I allowed myself to get hyped about a game that was completely original in terms of studio, story, and IP, and not only did it live up to my expectations, it blew past them on just about every level.
