a solid 4 years because of chorus, and then until I was about 21. became habit 😂 mind you, I was in chorus from 6th-9th grade. Cold water constricts the vocal chords so we were not allowed to drink it at chorus comps; or soda, or anything that can fuck with your vocal chords lol.
