First impression of Silent Hill f: this music is phenomenal!

Spent the day doing arts and crafts creating puzzles and diagrams and documents for the book. I am terrible at arts and crafts.

I've just hit 90,000 words so I definitely have a novel on my hands. I am now switching from daily-word-count goals to just-getting-the-rest-of-the-story-done-in-a-timely-manner-without-rushing goal.

Rest day after 2 mammoth days of writing. Back to it tomorrow. Did do a lil today though and manage to sneak over 70k today. Just for fun.

Roo on Sunday with squinty eyes

Crazy 2 days.

Sunday, my pomsky Roo had weepy eyes, and we called the vets. Monday morn his eyes were cloudy white and he was almost completely blind. Vets had no idea what happened. Opthalmologist still had no idea but now we're treating them. His eyes have cleared up and his sight is coming back.

Just hit 60k and roughly the halfway point of my book, so hopefully on track for my total target of 120k!

Smashed through 50k and on my way to 60. Just trying to maintain pace at the moment.

Trying to limit the research rabbit holes I go down. But did you know the UKs smallest living mammal is the Pygmy Shrew, at a weight of just 4g.

I just spent half an hour obsessing over a 5-word chapter title like I don’t have a remaining 60k to rewrite/edit in less than a month.

Worst part is, I’m still not sure about those 5 words.

Hers are really constructive (‘this character needs motivation’ ‘we need to tighten up the rules’ ‘I’m not sure this bit is working’)
Mine are ‘add sauna’ ‘hotel should have sauna’ even when I get on to something else I circle back to the sauna 🤣

Day 2 of 2.5k days. I hit it yesterday, so I just have to do the same again!

I did three batches of 800 words, and then a lesiurely 100+ in the evening to wind down.

Morning all! Morning coffee and a wordcount goal big enough to scare the bejesus out of me.

I need to do 2.5k a day to hit my deadline. This is draft 3, but it's different tense and new viewpoint so it's not like I can ctrl c, v anything.

Today’s the day! Having an operation to inject my vocal cord with silicone to make it stronger. Last time I had a temporary dose and it worked amazingly. This is more permanent stuff!
