Treatment associations of liberal vs. conservative fluid therapy on ventricular systolic function in septic patients. LV GLS and RVFWS are unaffected by treatment with liberal fluids in septic patients, but mechanical ventilation was associated with worse function as measured by LV GLS.

As intensivists rely more & more on advanced echo 🫀, we must ❓ how our interventions affect TTE metrics 📏…
