M favourite issue so far: a stand-alone issue chronicling how Stargazer and the original SilverHawks took down Mon*Star and his Mob more than a century ago. Stargazer is featured in all his bad-ass glory. @georgekambadais.bsky.social absolutely kills it on art.

This book was terrific! A really great debut issue from @edbrisson.bsky.social and Andy Kuhn! Seeing Andy’s name on a comic makes me immediately interested, and Ed’s crime work speaks for itself. This is going to be a great series, pick this up!

Yeah. I seem to come across M42 lenses at thrift shops all the time. Haven't picked any up, but will start.

I just wanted a cheaper 35mm to learn on and play around with.

It'll be my first time, not including old point-and-shoot cameras I had growing up. I hope what I've learned using digital will make the learning curve a little easier.

Picked up my first 35mm film camera for only $15. After a year of shooting digital, it'll be nice to mix in a little analog action (provided it actually works).

So, I was laid off by my job this week after 13 years.

Not only that, but it happened as bills from my recent heart attack-related medical visits come due.

I didn't know that's why it was called Sneaky Dee's. That's pretty great.

It's great. I think Buried is also great for what it does with so little.

There are quite a few -- Drop, Cellular, Buried, Cell, Locke, off the top of my head -- I think that filmmakers ignored them for a long time or defaulted to "I can't get a signal".
