🎉 The Constitutional Court in #Lithuania has struck down a ban on #AssistedReproduction for single women, ruling it unconstitutional & discriminatory. The govt will amend the law to ensure equal access for all women facing #infertility.
#ART should be available to everyone, incl. same-sex couples.
👏 #Luxembourg has ended the mandatory waiting period for #abortion – a harmful, stigmatising & arbitrary barrier to care.
This move reflects a growing European trend towards improving abortion laws.
Abortion must be treated with the same urgency and respect as any other essential healthcare.
Sardinia will be the first southern Italian region to offer #abortion care outside hospitals, providing cost-free access to medication abortion in select public clinics and, on a trial basis, at home. The move comes amid high rates of refusals of care and reliance on surgical abortion.

🟡 Ongoing Abortion Reforms (Pt. 1):
UK: A bill is set to decriminalise women accessing abortion care in England & Wales.
Monaco: A draft bill seeks to legalise abortion up to 12 weeks.
Lithuania: A draft bill seeks to ensure free access and stronger protections for abortion.
✅ #Abortion reforms completed in 2025:
Denmark & Norway: Abortion on request extended to 18 weeks. Both also removed parental consent requirements for minors.
Netherlands: Medication abortion is now accessible through general practitioners.
