A hand combs through his own hair, as if that was a necessary fix.

Warm-up is done, now he’s quick to charge forth, knocking one down with the side of his sword. The surrounding ones are less fortunate, being cut down like paper. Now the initial one meets its maker.

If she needs a bodyguard severely, this can manage.

Depends on the pay.

The pat makes him step back a couple of steps. Lots of people believe a similar thought.

“…Need something?”

The quick boop takes him aback, blinking. A slight shade of pink spans his face, which he does his best to cover with a hand.

“Best of three, yeah…”

As soon as she’s gone he sighs and races after just a mere moment late.

“Got it, coming.”

Cloud watches as Tamara dispatches the last, fleeing adversary in the area. It’s only met with a nod. All of their targets dealt with means a triumphant success.

“I guess so.”

Cloud shrugs, almost allowing a cocky grin to form.

“…But, there may be other spots we haven’t checked yet. +

Cloud has a few stragglers, one is dealt with a dork of lightning. The final one is met with a two-handed swing after a flashy spin of the merc.

“Not bad—faster than I thought.”

“Sure.”

A simple response as he takes a step, slashing through a monster, and a few more steps with a slash to follow each one—felling a mister each time.

“You don’t have to worry about my coin.

…Not bad, by the way.”

📲 Night.

Tamara’s swift shift into action does make him smile, the grin almost makes Cloud chuckle, but he catches it and stays stoic as usual.

“Hope you’ve got enough for it.”

A leap forward and he’s quickly sent some of his half of the monsters flailing in the air, and picks them off one-by-one.

📲 Don’t mention it.
📲 I can’t think of anything else to do with chocobos besides feed them.

“I’m not that worried, just stay focused.”

As soon as monsters are in sight he’s got the Buster Sword drawn, and sizing them up.

“You take the left, and I’ll focus on the right.”
