Yeah I'm really fascinated by what they're going to do with checkmate. We know we're getting an adaptation of infinite crisis bc Gunn said that Maxwell Lord won't be a villain, and Sasha is already a cyborg, so checkmate will be very different from the comics.

Since we're (probably?) not getting a season 3, I can't see Vig being a big enough character to get a lot of screentime in anything else.

Finished True Detective S1. Really just an incredible exploration of cynicism, hope, and willing blindness through the lense of nihilism. Also has a lot to say about how authority - government, religious, and familial - can be used to exploit the vulnerable and get away with it.
