Sweet potatoes without their protective hot house covering during the day
Merced county sweet potatoes planted in the mid-Feb., are sprouting. These plants will grow and the roots will become sweet potatoes. Workers remove the protective covering everyday to water and weed the plants so the weeds don’t take nutrients the new plants to grow. #WeFeedYou

Headlines largely implied that pro-Palestine students - 9 were arrested at the protest - sent the threat. Over a month later, Barnard has not told students that they were the targets. If pro-Israel protesters had been threatened, would the case be the same? theintercept.com/2025/04/24/b...

This Tufts student was grabbed off the street, cuffed and taken out of state solely because she co-wrote a completely respectful oped in the student paper.
And Rubio’s State Dept now admits they have nothing more damning than that.

Ozturk thought she’d been kidnapped, that she might be killed.
At one point during the drive to Vermont, an ICE agent told her “We’re not monsters.” “We do what the government tells us.”
She described the entire ordeal in her own words in a court filing Thursday.
