and if the sports leagues come, many of the writers and commentators on sports will follow to keep their audiences up as well. these are the things that draw eyeballs. there are a lot of media writers here already, but we also need the people who just write on social about leagues and games as well.

sports leagues also care about the eyeballs. i'm really hoping that @nba.com and @wnba.com embracing this platform works out and they get enough of an audience to view this as a worthwhile first party platform and other sports leagues that aren't the nfl take notice. that will be a big one.

brands only care about exposure, and most of them are so busy trying to bend over backwards to appease the current administration they'll kiss twitter's ass and deal with having their content next to some real terrible shit from your average twitter user (or more likely a bot).
