I personally missed being in the middle of a mass shooting by hours on Monday when someone started spraying bullets through the lobby of my office building in Midtown. I don't plan to change a single thing about my view on NYC. Moreno's wetting his pants over one fight between two groups of people.

Yet again, my 3 year old is braver (and more rational) than a white adult male Senator. It should be shamefully embarrassing to say anything like this in public.

More OMNY news: @mta.info has FINALLY reactivated the trip and charge history portal on the OMNY site years after removing it due to privacy concerns.

I've intentionally tried to avoid these inane comments because they just get me riled up for no reason. The system once again took on a ton of water, had a few momentary hiccups and was operating fine with an hour or two of the end of the rain. That's very good consider drain capacities!

The Nostrand Ave. stop is a bit of a ways off from the 2/5 stop too, but that's an easier gap to bridge. They're not adding an express stop to Ave H.

It's the "repulsed" part of it that intrigues me. Even the normie Democrats seem to have perennial car brain in the Bronx.

The Bronx leg throws an extremely complicated and costly Amtrak-associated wrench into the plans, but it should at least be on the table for future expansion ideas. Bronx politicians are somehow very regressive on transit improvements. They're not even going along willingly with Penn Station Access

Bronx pols have a lot to answer for, but to this date there has not been a seriously-explored Bronx IBX connection that makes sense. @vanshnookenraggen.com had a connection idea that I liked better than what the MTA ever came up with. It’ll be pricey either way.

Today Hochul and the MTA confirmed that the planned end-to-end runtime of the IBX has been cut a full 10 min (down to 32min), and projected ridership is up 41k to 160k/day.

This is the power of grade separation and the All Faiths tunnel.
