It's been a weird year and to be honest, this year has been the closest I've been to just throwing in the towel and riding off into the sunset. Music is a crazy world to be in and with live music and streaming making it pretty impossible to make a living at this level,

It's that time of year! Spotify Wrapped has dropped and every year I'm blown away by the stats.

In 2020, I had 358 listeners and 1.9k streams. This year, I'm lucky enough to have 18,000 listeners and 54,000 streams! WHAT!

As a new artist I think you need to be emotion first and giving them a reason to care not a reason to invest.

I understand the argument of "don't go see your favourite band for £1000s, go see your next favourite band at a bar instead" but that new band isn't the soundtrack to your life. People want a sure thing and would rather pay big money to hear a song that takes them back to a special time.

Just watched the new Crow movie and I liked it. I think it got unfairly judged out the gate but that opera house scene was cool and if I saw this as a teenager I would be even more hyped on it.
