✨ My next course, Whimsical Animations, officially has a release date: September 24th! A little over a month from now. 😄

Yep! There are various recipe lists online, I make a cheap and cheerful one with just garlic, chillis from the supermarket, white vinegar and a bit of sugar. It adds great pep to noodles or rice :)

(I LOVE vinegar in general. In South Korea too, vinegar was just there as a condiment on the table.)

Yep yep totally get that it's subjective and complicated!

In hindsight it's probably just that the copy link is under the context menu in the Mastodon client I use, so that's where muscle memory takes me first here on Bluesky.

I’m really enjoying reading through this discussion. I believe icons are one of the most challenging aspects of design to get right, because their interpretation is often subjective. And that subjectivity is often based on context/circumstance. For example, Apple vs Google OS UI standards.

It'd confuse me either way. Even though I know that what I want is in there, I just... My thumbs think before my brain does somehow and it always takes me so many taps to copy a simple link to post.

It's apparently an iOS Vs Android thing. Sigh. I just really have a blocker here somehow, my muscle memory just will not.

Maybe. On web that requires querying the user to see what device they're on, which isn't ideal... But presumably the app already knows that.

Oh yeah the forward-style arrow is another contender.

I am leaning more towards the little nodes icon, I'll follow up with a post I made about this before - but anything is better than this other one that means upload to me, or export here to you.

I apparently expect the little three-node style icon, and am finding it very hard to recognise that box with the arrow coming up out of it as the action I want.

I'm usually wanting to copy the link to the post. Sometimes, I share it to another app, i.e. to a friend via an instant messaging service.

Yeah, no, please change the share icon @support.bsky.team.

Every. Single. Time. I don't recognise it as a share icon, I try to find 'Share link' or similar in the three-dot context menu, fail, and then exasperatedly remember that the icon that looks like "upload" is "share", actually.
