Collage on yellow gradient. In background is PA state capitol building and SEPTA Bus with a "State cuts!" headway sign. In foreground is Transit app main menu interface featuring lines with "Cuts start Aug 24" notes, along with an enlarged view of the Network Preview prompt from the settings floating on top.
Philadelphia! π’
Big cuts to SEPTA service start August 24 unless the state provides sufficient funding. Use Transit to preview the cuts and tell lawmakers what you think!

31.07.2025 14:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The time for docking depends on the trip, as it's the time it takes to walk from the origin point to the starting station and/or to the destination from the end station. Lime Bikes do not need to be docked so they don't have the same delays, and they're also a bit faster because they're electric.
30.07.2025 17:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In the meanwhile, there are still a couple things you can do to make sure you're getting the trips you want! You can toggle off Minimize walking under Settings and accessibility, and you can adjust your speed from the trip planner by tapping the slider icon button in the bottom right.
29.07.2025 20:22 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In this case, Lime Bikes are shown as faster since they're electric and don't have a delay for docking at the start and end of the trip since they can be parked anywhere. Electric bike speed is also a function of your chosen regular bike speed, just a bit faster to reflect the extra power β‘
29.07.2025 20:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks for the suggestions! We'll note them and keep them in mind for future improvements :)
29.07.2025 20:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks for the feedback. The priority setting applies to walking-only trips and makes it so that they show above the transit options, but it does not apply to walking legs of other trips types. The speed setting does apply though, but only for the non-transfer legs. Hope this helps clarify things!
29.07.2025 20:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0π Thanks for the feedback! Could you send us more details about your experience at info@transitapp.com? We can take a closer look at what's happening from there. Thanks!
29.07.2025 19:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sorry for any confusion! Could you send us some more details about this at info@transitapp.com? We'll take a closer look at things from there. Thanks!
29.07.2025 19:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0π Thanks for the feedback! Our trip planning algorithm will always show whatever gets you to your destination fastest, depending on the settings you've selected. If there's a particular route you have feedback about though, send us the details at info@transitapp.com and we can take a closer look!
29.07.2025 19:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0π Your walking speed can be tailored to you in the settings menu! You can find more info on how to do that here: help.transitapp.com/article/108-...
