How can I ask my husband for help without being a nag? Marriage / Relationship Advice My husband (32M) and I (31F) have been married for 3 years, together for 13 years total. I'm really struggling with managing our life lately. We are DINKs (dual income, no kids). We both work full-time jobs, with his job being more physically demanding while I work a cushy office job. Since we moved in together, I have taken on all of life's responsibilities. I do all the shopping, all the cooking, all the cleaning. I also manage all of our finances, and coordinate our social calendars to make sure we're spending time with our mutual friends and both families.

My husband works hard, so I try to be mindful of that and let him relax and unwind when he's home. I'm just mentally exhausted from trying to balance everything. When I ask for help or try to delegate household tasks, I'm met with a joke ("you're the wife, that's your job"), an excuse ("I worked all day, I want to relax"), or a promise that he'll get to it later, which rarely ever happens and it ends up back on my to do list. He has accused me of nagging in the past, which is the last thing I want to do. A chore chart feels infantilizing. I just don't know what to do anymore. Our sex life is suffering because I feel more like his parent than his partner. What are some ways I can persuade him to be more involved in what are supposed to be shared responsibilities?
