I'm quite enjoying the lineless style too. Its a bit harder but it helps emphasize the important parts the most.

I got a bunch of alcohol markers plus a pack of fine liners from Five Below just for funsies/to have as possible color options in the event I ever go out anywhere and try to draw. Tested with some Pokémon doodles!
Definitely not the best, but not *completely* awful either. xD

try to maximize the amount of money you get in the first few rounds- dont bother with low value hands (two pair is like 100 chips while full house is 300+ chips). Try to one-shot the first round w/ a queen high (or better) straight, full houses w/ chip values that sum to >= 30, flushes >= 35 chips.

retriggers good especially with lucky/glass cards; or face cards. photograph/hanging chad (both common) can solo carry white stake runs with glass face cards.

focus on multiplicitive mult (like the x3 mult cavendish), make sure to order jokers (jokers trigger left-to-right, so +mult BEFORE xmult)

too much skipping; imo. every time you skip you lose out on lots of money. try to strive to have $25 by the end of each round to maximize interest ($1 for every $5 you have, max of $5).
Also reroll for high mult cards; the lusty joker is only good for first few rounds. Planets for more chips.
