Vocals were better than I expected. The high-pitched screams even resembled Russ. Good show, but the drumsound let them down a bit. Large fanbase, based on the amount of Forbidden T-shirts. The guys are now at our Aardschok stand at the festival by the way. Pity you're not here to talk to them..

This is certainly my favourite album out of the bunch of upcoming releases:

A couple of highlights I've been listening to the last few weeks. But there's one that easily takes the crown of AOTM for me.

The supergroup combo's are what would've excited me most I guess. I'm seeing Nuno in August with Extreme and your right these players are awesome. I had tickets for Living Colour a few weeks ago but had to sell due to work obligations unfortunately. Still high on my list. How's life?

The right MK at the right time. The first three notes of the album defined metal. Great choice K!

How was the farewell show and how were the support acts?

Really like this unique metal album without any guitars. So much better than the previous one since Brann is center stage and on fire and taking it to another level.

For the nostalgic bunch out there longing for early 90's progmetal a la Lethal, Psychotic Waltz & Transcendence. If you're not familiar with the latter: this is your chance because Transcendence has released a great new album. A classic, should it have been released back then.

This is a modern approach that I really like. Flamenco, Goth, Metal and a good video.
Rest of the album sounds great as we'll with other nice Spanish influences as well.

Hope it will grow on you as well. At first I thought it was quite soft and missed dynamics, but the beauty shone through after a couple of spins

This album has grown a lot on me. Very atmospheric, sitting somewhere between (melodic) doom and progrock. It's a (sort of) continuation of the band Ghost Brigade. Singing is in Finish and adds to the overall feel. Not to be slept upon.

To me, this is the best progressive death metal album of the year so far. Absolutely love the artwork, but the content is even better. Prepare yourself for the new Rivers Of Nihil.
