It is with the heaviest heart that I share that Matrix passed way unexpectedly in his sleep. He was such an avid adventurer, fierce hunter, loyal protector, aggressive snuggler, & emotional healer! Poem written by me with a fiery background Convictions Standing united in this insidious mess, unyielding, is to burn within the fire— like the witches before us. Branded, condemned, consumed, as scapegoats for an agenda telling you to fear those who dare to live. Gasoline splashed by careless hands, flames devouring the breath of our protest, smoke curling through our liberated desires left to smolder. Carbon copies rise from the wreckage, ghosts of what they wish we’d be, while we, still burning, fuel the search to reconcile what’s lost.
