INDEP INDEP is an international network to advance a post-capitalist economic system based on democratic economic planning.

I definitely don't claim the exact model of participatory economy has all the answers. But in a world starved of hopeful economic visions, it gives us a nuanced conversation of hard economic questions we desperately need to have. And organizations such as INDEP are doing great work with this.

This is a great thread! Monbiot quite perfectly captures how capitalism has colonized collective imagination. Rejecting capitalism is difficult for many, but maybe those who do should seriously engage with what comes after? Let's talk about why ideas like participatory economy (parecon) matter... 🧵🧵
