I figure there would be a lot in the second act that was changed to fit into the reshot third act - especially since there were two Predators on our side. So there must’ve been a fairly big scene(s) to establish that relationship shift going in to the climax.

I’d give anything to see the original cut and get the context for two predators riding on a tank in daylight alongside the heroes.

The more I see it the more I appreciate it. I also love how it stops to become a Kurosawa movie for a few minutes when the Yakuza fights a Predator. Such a goofy move but it always brings a smile to my face. I’m surprised no one’s graded it to B&W

I remember watching the making ofs, which were the only reason to buy the sets, and seeing all the dwarves work out these fantastic backstories and group dynamics and then none of that ended up in the movies. It was a real bummer after WB told Jackson to focus on the “hot” ones

I do feel Predators is underrated. Also every movie but the first one feels like it would instantly go up a star if “weird character we meet half way” turned out to be Arnie. The CIA guys in 2, Fishburne in this, the dumb suit at the end of The Predator. You just know that was the hope going in.
