I refuse to believe that a government mandated digital ID scheme would not be used to detransition and dehumanise people like me in the current climate.

It was a great honour to represent the County Council at the VJ Day commemoration in Cambridge earlier this morning- marking 80 years since the end of the 2nd World War.

Yesterday I had the privilege of witnessing a citizenship ceremony at the county council. There were so many smiling faces - all proud to be joining British society.

Kier Starmer saying that migration, legal migration, has turned us into an ‘island of strangers’ is both disturbing and disgraceful.

Voters in Canada have elected a Liberal government on a mandate to combat Trump's dangerous populism. Across the globe, it is liberals who are taking the lead in standing up for prosperity, security and democracy in the face of Trump, Putin and the rest.

When he came to office, Keir Starmer promised a government that would "tread more lightly" on people's lives.

Bridget Phillipson's announcement that trans folks should use the wrong toilets is offensive and ignorant.

It shows Labour to be no better than the US Republicans. They should be ashamed.

This is a political choice.

The courts judgement needs careful consideration to understand its impact. Trans voices were not included yet this ruling affects them most. That’s deeply troubling.

I am literally terrified of going to the toilet right now. This MP understands that. He is a good MP. I wish others in similar positions would speak out. The wall of silence from those who call themselves allies has been noticed.
