I love autumn for that reason. I sometimes struggle with winter, but I always remember our trees and plants need their rest. I’m grateful to have the changing seasons.

The biggest question is why do we begrudge people receiving food?!? I’m horrified to see the people complaining about those receiving snap, as if they’re getting $1000 a week for food. It’s supplemental. Not that much when you see how little they receive. It’s sad.

I have to admit, I live within a mile of 2 churches which do provide free food. Both also have a nice playground for the community. One even has a place where you can have a garden lot free for signing up. There is also an outdoor food box you can donate or take food.
