For me, Season 1 being so over the top was kinda the point of the thing: Having the best animators in the industry flex their muscles on adapting an absurd, silly webcomic. The spectacle was part of the joke. That said, I also don't really care that much and I'm glad there's more cartoons.

Tadpoles, pollywogs, and hell even most full grown frogs: I probably could kick their ass.

So much happens during that ONE WEEK LATER. Tim Meadows and Judomaster leaving ARGUS, Adabayo's divorce from her wife who's had about 60 seconds of screentime this season, Chris being arrested, bailed out (of a federal black site prison??) and immediately getting arrested again... Just messy.

The last half hour of the Peacemaker Season 2 finale felt like James Gunn forgot he was doing a cinematic universe and had to rapidly cram in every story hook for a movie that's coming out in two years into the last episode instead of focusing on telling a complete and coherent story.

I liked that "Shake It Off" song and I didn't know she wrote it and kinda assumed it was from a kids movie or a commercial or something.
