Hello, Venus!

Heading toward #Venus for a flyby, our #SolarOrbiter mission caught the planet on camera using the SoloHI instrument of the US Naval Research Laboratory.

SoloHI was designed to capture the faint light of the solar wind. The much brighter Venus “smears” starlight around the edges.
