Morning ritual: Get up, give her a treat, take meds. This morning I woke up late and forgot. She followed me all over yowling until I realized I'd skipped her treat and therefore my meds. Accidentally trained her to remind me to take my meds.

One of my big goals for my #writinglife is improve my health. Sitting at a computer all day at work and all night writing has taken a toll. Here a shot of Great River Bridge poking up through the trees from my walk tonight.

I've seen people make blackout poems out of job rejections, so I started making motivational messages out of my short story rejections.

a golden retriever sits and looks directly at the camera. a gigantic tree is in full, bright pink blooms that completely fills the top half of the frame. both the dog’s fur and the tree are shimmering a little in the sunlight. in a delightful coincidence, the dog’s tongue almost perfectly matches the blossoms behind her.

This is Maggie. She saw this tree blossoming into its true colors and thought of you. 13/10
