Been waiting a long time for a FANTASTIC FOUR movie that was true to Jack Kirby‘s vision. We finally got it. FF: FIRST STEPS has enough action to knock your socks off and enough heart to give you the feels. Marvel is officially kicking ass again. Kirby lives!

It depends on the writer. Some writers can do this in a few lines. William Gibson is a great example.

It’s amazing how many readers these days will complain about too much description and too much setting. They don’t have the patience readers did in the past. They want things to start moving right away. They expect setting to be filled in as the action proceeds. Which is a valid approach.

SUPERMAN was fantastic. Krypto and Mr. Terrific almost stole the show, but the entire supporting cast is superb as well. Metamorpho was everything I hoped he would be, Guy Gardner was cooler than expected, and Hawkgirl is now a fully realized badass. James Gunn does it again.
