This is some good news!

*Of course* advance information on US combat operations is classified. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our troops, who all know this.

The Secretary is unfit to lead.

Nobody deserves to be treated like this just for being in the wrong country. ☹️

P.S. This is already happening. Same with USPS and other public services.

The point of public education is to serve ALL regardless of background, belief, language, need, etc. While that presents challenges, it is not a reason to dismantle them.

- The scores will appear to worsen due to the transfers, leaving a higher percentage of students who have needs who would be turned away from private schools
- People will point at the school and say, “See, you are failing & should be dismantled because the private schools are outperforming you.”

- If schools are failing, it’s their fault and they are bad places (not because of funding, lack of professional development, poverty level of those they serve, or other factors)
- The privileged students will transfer out leaving even fewer resources for the “failing” school

Please notice her answer to whether all children should have access quality education was “no one should be trapped in a failing school.” While that sounds logical on the surface, if we follow that thinking through, there are a few things that become crystal clear in their strategy:

He was not dead.

“Catastrophic” is the correct word to describe the dismantling of the US Dept. of Ed and the government. If you still think these cuts are about efficiency and waste, you really should talk to folks in the industries affected who know the real stories.

Matthew surprised me with the crew of Serenity 4 my birthday. I talked with Nathan and Alan for a few seconds. They were very nice and generous. Was bummed 2 of the cast had to change their plans to be there, but it was still a great panel & photo op. This was such a shiny surprise! #browncoats

This is just one of so many examples of how important a worldwide focus and support is. I am so frustrated and disgusted at our president’s decision to end so much international aid without first determining and weighing the consequences.
