I had already related to Blitzø a lot before AT, and then AT solidified for me how real of a character he is.

By the time he admitted that he wanted more with Stolas, he thought he had already lost him.

And then proceeded to try to sabotage the other good relationships in his life as an act of self-flagellation.

My man is a train wreck, and he knows it.

Especially since he fucked up, realized he fucked up, acknowledged the reason behind his bullshit relationship fuckery (even if he immediately covered it with aggression), tried to make a sincere apology, and then let Stolas go when he thought that's what was best for Stolas.
