So grimdark fantasy settings like Berserk will always grab my attention quickest.

I played Ys 8 ages ago and dropped 9, so not much to say about those.

The point isn't it only happens in newer games,but rather it got old the first 5 times it was used imo.

But I also feel like Trails as a series is very predictable if you pay attention, not a complaint mind you.

To me that elevates the surprises

Even if I wish the surprises were more frequent lol

I usually don't bother with debuffs or buffs for that matter

I just nuke enemies into submission lol

But if I had to choose
Hitting enemies with bad breath with a blue mage
Never gets old

I honestly can't mix Trails and Warhammer
They'd all die 5 minutes in

The Horus Heresy is begging for an adaptation only a JRPG can provide
