It has been said before, but it bears repeating: the elderly who’ve worked their entire lives to get $800 a month on Social Security aren’t bankrupting America. It’s tax-evading billionaires like Trump who are bleeding this country dry.

Virtually every question today at the WH Press briefing was about the Hunter pardon, as if that is the thing the American people care about most right now. The DC press is so disconnected from the American public and serves them poorly more often than not.

The Trump ordeal has made one thing clear.

Too many of our checks and balances rely on norms, traditions and the honor code.

It works when those elected into power are people of honor and integrity who respect our norms and traditions.

Elect a lifelong criminal and it all goes sideways.

Trump announces that on his first day in office, he’s going to put a 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada and an extra 10% tariff on China.

Stock up on whatever you need before January 20 - everything is about to get more expensive. Groceries, cars, medications, all of it.

Trump posts that he will implement a 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States from Mexico and Canada his first day in office and will add an additional 10% tariff above current levels on products imported from China.
