just had the realization that the type of person who enjoys making ai art is someone who prioritizes it’s consumption, while those who dislikes ai art is someone who values the act of creating art

I think even for people who aren't artists, there are many who enjoy art as a human feat of skill and expression even if they are doing no art creation themselves. Even if AI art was better then human art, and it's not, no one gives a shit that a forklift can carry more then a weightlifter.

Our feature artist/tutorial today is this idea on LIGHTING/CASTING SHADOWS on TREES, by the talented @simodasketch! What I like here is the clear thinking around breaking the TONAL VALUE of the shadows into CLEAR GROUPS gives us such nicely defined FORMS. #anime #manga #drawing
