A view up into the trees on a bright spring morning. The sky is barely visible due to the number of tree branches creating complex overlapping patterns. Some of the branches towards the left have a interesting purple hue. Not sure if it was the morning light or actually a lens aberration :)

I forgot about #ForestFriday for a while.

This was a few days ago in Cruagh Woods. I keep coming back to this but not sure why. It's not like it's a great pic or anything. I think it's the complexity of it that attracts me.

From a point east of Mt. Hood, the sky shows bands of high clouds glowing in shades of orange and yellow. Left of center is a snowcapped Mt. Hood, nearly completely white. Below it are shadowy forested hills and a faint view of the Columbia River.

A coastal scene with some dark jagged rock with some almost red sunrise light reflecting on it. In the foreground is the sea, and through the arch some waves have broken on the cliff walls, and are now receding.
