Round 8 back to pain, opponent played unfamiliar opening and I didnt know what to do after some time.

Round 9 my opponent played the English as white. Game was nice until i dropped a pawn and then the game just collapsed from there

Round 6 i was losing but my opponent made a big mistake which I didnt capitalize on

Round 7 I handily won against an unrated player.

Handily win, yeah no haha. I won, but it was a battle of attrition.

Was ahead in Round 5 too until I made a crucial mistake and it slowly slipped away from me

Lost my first 3 Games in the Chess tournament against Opponents rated 1844, 1772 and 1722 FIDE. Today I get to play against an unrated kid who only has a 700-ish German rating. Not to get cocky but I should handily win that.

Arrived at the venue of the Chess Tournament. Eating Obazda, which is an amalgamation of different cheeses and a Pretzel. Way too much Obazda for that Pretzel but tasty nonetheless.

Won second game as Black.
Won a silly game three as White.

Decent experience, kind of useless for FIDE rating since my group had no one that was rated

Gonna be my first time in Munich too haha. A Chess tournament of all things.

Excited as this is gonna be a venue I'll be visiting frequently from now on if the vibes are good!

Proud of my tournament performance but especially the upset win against the 1700 FIDE-rated player in Round 2!

Round 7 Im playing with the White pieces against a guy that hasn't scored any points in this tournament so far. Surely I can finish out a successful tournament with a win, right?

Lost Rounds 3-6

Rounds 3 and 4 early mistakes that my opponents snowballed well.

Especially upset with the round 5 loss since I was just on the cusp of getting the decisive advantage but didn't play the move

Round 6 I was just so out of it and blundered a knight for no reason

Playing my first ever classical chess tournament this week

Lost Round 1 with the White Pieces in a 4 hour long game

Won Round 2 with the black pieces in 2 hours with my opponent being late almost 30 minutes haha

1 out of 2 points after two Rounds I feel pretty good

Id love to have an auto table one day. Problem is you need people to play haha.
