In Bob Clampett’s AN ITCH IN TIME (’43), Elmer Fudd threatens his pooch with a bath when a hillbilly flea takes up residence on him as a food source. The flea’s song, “Food Around the Corner,” was an original tune by Clampett and performed by Sara Berner (sped-up).
