When churches say ‘All are welcome’ the implication is of an equality.

‘welcome’ is used differently for different groups of people.

Many LGBTQ+ are offered such a substantially lower grade ‘welcome’ (eg with regard to marriage) that the word ‘welcome’ becomes redundant.

I originally thought it a good thing when dog-whistling politicians finally allowed their racism to show overtly. I thought they’d be seen for what they were, booted off the media and thrown out of their parties. I was a fool.
