Image of the Linen Hall bookshop, Belfast
A wonderful find - a very dangerous bookshop to browse. Eclectic, slightly bonkers and peaceful. Everything a good bookshop should be.

Apparently it's compulsory when visiting #Galway to take a picture of this building.
03.08.2025 11:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Nowhere to turn near Kettering. Syston is the nearest triangle but it's a case of how far you need to go down each "arm" before you can safely reverse. Leicester one way. Loughborough the second and possibly Melton Mowbray the third.

Close up of a Flush sign in a Transport for Wales train carriage in English and Welsh
Had a great journey earlier this week to the lovely city of Hereford on one of the ex LNER trainsets operated by TfW and on the journey I discovered that the Welsh for "flush" is Fflysh and now my life is complete.

A not uncommon situation to be seen at King's Cross but still worth a pic...9 platforms on the main line side all occupied. Taken about 10:35 Monday 9 June.
