(I was thinking people would be telling me: “has to be 70,000 words before they kiss to count,” “love confession over halfway through- at absolute minimum,” etc. 😂)

This whole question came about because I saw a post about tropes, and then tried thinking what applied to my book.
Like, I don’t think I’d advertise it as ‘slow burn’, but in some contexts it definitely could be considered that. (Though I think my extended word count also lends itself to that!)

This is a valid test honestly 😂

Question:
What qualifies as a slow burn? 🤔

Does it have to pass a certain amount of words? Chapters? Books?

And then does it stop at the first kiss? First time sleeping together? First love confession? When they officially become a couple?

So, uhh… other than two chapters I did a couple of days ago, I may have just plotted my entire sequel in a single evening 🤯

Not sure how it happened, but I’m pretty sure I must have entered a fugue state 😂

So I’m working on beta stuff currently, and have prepared an application form, post-reading questionnaire & TW list.

What am I missing? Is there something I’ve forgotten? Or questions I need to make sure I include in the forms? Triggers I’ve maybe overlooked?
