I cheated and kept my first name the same so I only had to learn the last name. I did not consider the muscle memory of automatically writing my real last name though.

When we were house hunting 3.5 years ago, there were lost dog signs up in the neighborhood with a picture of an old, gray-faced mutt. After we moved in, they added a reward to the posters. Every few months, we'd see fresh posters go up. Today I noticed new ones. My heart just aches for this person.

I think I'm enjoying Taskmaster because Greg Davies is very tall and Welsh, which are two things I greatly appreciate in a man but so rarely go together.

Hell yeah! Having run away from rural PA as soon as I was able, it is heart warming to see progress there.

The president and his allies came after him.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

Trunk or treat is so weird to me.

Ours has started around 6 pm in the past but I just now got my first groups!

I've been sitting on my porch, light on and candy bowl at the ready, for over an hour. Candy given out to trick-or-treaters = 0. Candy I have eaten = 1

I did see a car with a very 90s Darkwing Duck wrap on my way home from the second Starbucks so that brightened my mood.

So far this morning, my car battery died, my vision got worse and I need new glasses, and Starbucks was out of pumpkin. 😭
