Two weeks in, and wow. Just wow. I can't look at the news too long without descending into anxiety. So, I walk when I can. And take notice of things that are still lovely. Which makes me sound nicer than I feel.

I'm so frustrated with the people who didn't vote. But even more so, I'm angry with the "protest voters" who voted against Harris because they didn't like Biden's handling of the Hamas war. And now look... a ceasefire... while Biden is still president.

Agreed! I'm tired of bailing these fools out every four or eight years, and then they blame us for the problems they voted for? No thanks. I'm done. I'm prepared to take care of myself and my own. Let these people have what they voted for.

Reading Heather Cox Richardson and getting tired of the almost constant overview of how the orange nightmare didn't actually win a sweeping mandate of the popular vote. Like... ok, thanks, we get it. But knowing this isn't going to change what's coming.
