The Castlevania Omnibus

It was very unique and I liked that era of experimentation with the series. Harmony of Despair, Judgment, The Arcade. With such a history of games, it was great that they were trying new things.
I would definitely jump back into HD if they released it on modern consoles or bring it back in some way

8 bit Simon and the original Castlevania map were so cool! I really love what they did with that game

Soma encounters the mysterious “J” who can sense Soma’s dark powers. “J” explains that he has amnesia due to an event that happened in 1999. He believes it has something to do with Dracula and he’s looking for answers within the castle

Some of the greatest rap hits of the 90’s!
Some of the music is actually pretty good on it. And the songs are cheesy but fun.

My son got one of those handhelds with thousands of games, she was checking it out and I suddenly heard “Silence of Daylight” playing and got surprised! She accepts and supports my love of CV but has never really played them in the 16 years we’ve been together.

Watching my wife play #Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest for the first time is hilarious!
First she’s trying to attack towns folk, then she falls in water and wants to know why Belmont’s can’t swim!

lol I just recently learned about that guy and he’s got some great videos. I was trying to get all the Trophies in the Advance Collection and used his video as a guide to quickly finish Circle of the Moon’s Magician mode since I didn’t want to replay it again so soon!

Within the castle, Soma meets Hammer. A soldier that ended up inside the eclipse while investigating, he decides to quit the military and help Soma by setting up a shop for him to buy supplies. He’ll do anything to help the cause
He is hopelessly enamored with Yoko!

A descendant of the Belnades clan, she is a witch capable of powerful magic. She sees herself as an older sister to Mina and is always looking out for her

Dawn is a lot of fun to play and using the flying armor is great. Always have it equipped until you don’t actually need it. Plus the Soul system was great.
Great choice with Portrait of Ruin. Easily one of my favorites in the exploration style

Soma soon meets Graham Jones, a “missionary” who knows an awful lot on the subject Dracula and his castle. He explains to Soma that Nostradamus’ prediction included information that in the year 2035, someone was destined to inherit Dracula’s full power. Soma does not see him as a threat

I love Haunted Castle Revisited! This is definitely my favorite boss from the game!

As he enters, he blacks out and soon finds himself in Dracula’s Castle sealed within the eclipse. A man named Genya Arikado tells him that if wishes to know more he must go to the throne room

That’s good to know. Maybe they just hit some delays and aren’t announcing anything until they have it 100% ready to go. Something to look forward to if it’s still happening

Yeah I remember this one too. I would have been curious to see what that release would have looked like. I asked a few times about it back on twitter but didn’t hear much.
I’m guessing it’s not going to happen at this point, but maybe it still will eventually.

It was Julius Belmont who ultimately destroyed Dracula in 1999, ending centuries of terror.
After defeating Dracula, Julius placed the Vampire Killer within the castle to help keep its dark magic weakened.
As the castle was sealed away within the eclipse, no trace of Julius was found…

Not really. I don’t really use a PC (mostly tablet) for anything so I typically am not aware of fan games and honestly not really in any communities online where I see them. I occasionally do on here but it’s not something I typically follow
