I believe the projects they are dropping are separate companies. The services will continue to exist, but not whitelabled as Mozilla services. FE, the paid VPN used Mullvad, while the free version used CloudFlare. It was only the client they developed. You can still use them.

It's always strange getting started in these new platforms and talking to nobody. The key to these things is that you have to find your people to vibe with. Otherwise it doesn't matter. Or maybe use it for threading your thoughts for your own reasons in the meantime.
